Wow! First, my "Better Half" sees the "Fish'n Babes", and now I have to sneak my rod out of the house! Now OL, if she sees this one, my hunting is a thing of the past!
Seriously, I don't know what all the broo-ha-ha is all about. You only get to see it online. Sports Illustrated has been publishing an entire magazine dedicated to the girls of SI showing tons of more skin and I don't see anyone griping about the tainting of Basketball, baseball, football, track and field or golf. I haven't ever read about one of our known hunters or fishermen being arrested for rape, drunk driving or illegal drugs like I have many or the athletes featured in SI from time to time. So, who's the best?
Iguana hunting. Yup, you heard right. Watch as Terry Gibson and crew go head to head with the explosive iguana population in Florida and then fry 'em up!
This is a great varmint to hunt with an air gun. Very few varmints are good eating as well. This is very typical of what happens when you get an out of control population of any species. The remedy the author is using is perfect.
The Humane Soceity would euthanize them faster than you can spell the word and probably by placing them in a freezer. The dummies don't realizs that cold blooded reptiles go into a catatonic state and painless death through freezing. They really don't care about anything other than trying to stir up a pile of crap to help them get uninformed people to help fill their money coffers.
I'd prefer to look at smaller knives on bigger backgrounds. Leave the hardware to folks like Carmichael for show and tell boys and the babes to Hef.....
Dang it, just when I rebarreled a 700BDL to 22-250 Akley improved I discover this jewel on a prarie dog hunt in eastern Wyoming. The B.C. of the bullets are remarkable making this one flat shooting son-of-a-gun. I just haven't figured out which case I want to go with. I want to enjoy a 600+ yard shooter with minimal recoil. I think that once people see just how good this caliber is matched with the proper case it is really going to catch on. As far as an elk gun, I have a friend that has shot a 6.5x300 Weatherby wildcat for the past 23 years and has killed an elk with it every year. It is the flattest shooter I have ever seen. I suppose that the 7mm STW is pretty close to it.
I don't want one that fast or with that kind of recoil but the 308 case might miss a little for variables.
Wow! You ivite me to look at this article by wagging a picture of beautiful Eva at me and then I've got to click on fourteen so-sos just to see her again.
Now, that's some very stratigic planning!
Talk about some tough pleasant looking ladies. I've gone noodlin and about tore my right arm out of my shoulder. Chaffed up my hide pretty good too. I really respect these gals. They can noodle me anytime!
The missing link that most of the anti's don't seem to realize is without the hunter and fisherman, and the money that he pays through voluntary taxation on practically every piece of equipment (Pittman-Robertson funds), there would be very little wildlife sustained. The humane society, like so many other domestic animal welfare groups, have done a real disservice to their cause by opening their platform to ban what we as outdoorsmen cherish. They would have maintained a far greater financial ability to sustain the protection of abused domestic pets had they not watched so many Disney movies that they now believe every animal that lives with a cranial cavity lives, feels, and thinks like man.
I would like them to view nature in it's truest form, where a pack of wolves hamstring a group of "Bambies" and leaves them to die from the damaged they caused. I have witnessed this while hunting. They didn't eat any of them for dinner either.
Mr. Smith, your focus is so narrow and you have such a blind view on the inhumane reality of nature that it is probably not worth the time it would take to educate you to the real truths of nature. Mother nature usually inflicts a far greater pain to animals in the sequence of survival of the fittest than man with his hunting or fishing could ever do. For you folks to live in your world of make believe that animals feel and think like you do, well, in your case they probably do.
