Sorry guys, personally seems like a case of some police officers who wanted to shoot this bison 'calf'. I find it very hard to believe that it couldn't have been caught by other means, and if that cop was scared from something this relatively 'minor' maybe they are in the wrong profession. I have been around cows, bulls and horses most of my life - and I realize those aren't bison - but rarely is a charge a charge. I was in NC once when I witnessed THREE police oficers discharge their weapons into a RACCOON from 5 feet away (had a broken spipne) - they fired FOUR times!!! I would be ticked if I was the farmer who owned this animal.

With each passing day we're teased by weather promising that sunglasses, swimsuits and t-shirts will soon replace wool coats, long johns and sweaters as required attire. For some locations south of the Mason-Dixon Line, however, that day is already upon us. These areas bask in the warmth of the sun's tanning glow and heat the water for swimmers and fish alike.

I have to admit, I do like big knives (well, all knives actually). Granted, there really isn't that much use for a large knife - certainly not for MOST North American big game - but they are nice to look at. I think most of us like to look st knives, and guns, and bows, and camo, and..... I think as hunters, it's just in our blood.
