I've got the 835 Mossberg 12ga. It has a ported barrel which reduces recoil. I've also added a slip-on recoil pad which also helps. You could also get a 20ga. so recoil would'nt be as bad as a 12ga. Hope this helps. Good luck and good hunting.

Glorified, I'm not sure how to answer your question, simply. Because there are so many. You get to get out in alot better weather. The adrenalin pumping that yung mentioned among other things. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try, go with a buddy who has some experience in this helps to cut down on the learning curve and gives you someone to enjoy the time with. The best shot is one your comfortable making.As for placement, the heart/lungs are the two areas that you should focus on because as I was taught "if you can breath you can't run, and if your heart isn't pumping blood you can't run. For the bass- Early,Late,and at night, use top-water baits.Crayfish/Crawdads will work well during the day. As for the "bream"- Nightcrawlers, crickets are your best bet. Good luck and good fishing.

If the deer are the same size I'd take the "winner" because the "sub-dominate" buck will take over the area vacated by the one taken, and I can hunt him next year. Of course as stated it would have be be a safe/ethical shot to be had.

Had a great-uncle who tied flys. He made one that looked like a sml. frog with legs that "kicked". It was a "popper" and we used it on a farm pond he owned. When we would have days that they were'nt biting he'd tie one on and first cast everytime it was on ! So I'd say green/black frog types. Good luck and Good fishing.

Shotgun- Mossberg 500, Remington 870. Rifle- H&R in a .223 cal. Hope this helps.
Bread is good, but it disolves pretty fast, so "we" have started putting a cuuple of pieces of styrofoam in the trap to "look" like bread and have had some good success. Hope this helps.

Live bream/bluegills and a spinning rod are what I've used in the past. I DID catch one on a 6wt. FLY ROD(12lbs) not long ago too. We also use "buck-tail jigs, and "Sassy Shad's" on a "Parachute Rig" when trolling. Good luck and good fishing.

Stoger(turkish) and Mossberg both make a "affordable" O/U in that range. As for the deer/ turkey thing get one with exchangeable tubes(turkey), and shoot either buck-shot or a slug for smooth bore barrels. Good Luck and Good hunting !

In ballast tanks, no. Bull sharks could survive there though. Farthest recorded one in the U.S was in Ill., so if they wanted and could make it they could live in any body of water in the U.S.

I'd say no lower than 45lbs. If it will take a deer it ill' work on fish. Mines 50lbs(won't go lower). As for max- How much do you want to pull all night?

Like Mike said depends on what your using it for. Big game- I'd go with the R-25(.308). Pred.- I'd go with R-15(.223). Hope this helps.

Actualy you CAN hunt them from a treestand. But I'd invest in the "suit". They work believe me.

It works(sometimes) on grizzlys. Had a budd that was a bear guide in Alaska, that told me the best thing to stop a bear in it's tracks is a 12ga. slug. Sorry I could'nt help more.

I'd say drop is right. In Colo. everything has stoped "growing" by end of July/first August. We are hunting Elk(bow) in the middle of August. I grew up in Arkansas and the deer there are "done" around this same time.

Bullets or Caliber rifle ? As for caliber, The .30's will work well on the plains game(.30-06,.300 Win Mag). Elk type rounds would be good for this.

Works GREAT on deer and elk, I've used mine to take mule and whit-tail deer and elk. They say "varmint" because it works good on coyotes too.

The only game that is "yours", as said above is the game that you take ethicly/legaly. It's easier to gain premission to hunt private than most people think. Trade some labor for acess, as I've done, and I even got premission to hunt by knocking on doors and giving a store bought pie ! Took my first "speed goat"/pronghorn(doe)that way. I still send the family a christmas card every year.

I'd open some areas up and plant some food plots with peas/beans, seed is cheap and you said you did'nt mind the dirty hands. The public land/neighbors should'nt be problems though cause as soon as you give them a place to live/hide/eat, as they said in "Field of Dreams" "If you build it, they will come".
