I seem to remember a story back in the 60's in outdoor life about a eskimo girl that kiled polar bears using a single shot 22 by shooting them inside the ear...then would run off a bit and use a pocket knife to extract the shell and reload..and then head back in to shoot em again if they lived. But being a guy..I am sure with a 22 I would soon be one with the bear..untll left bend on the trail by natures natural processing. So to avoid that I carry big guns and take really slow running friends as a hunting partner

Check the ammunition allowed stamp on the barrel and in your owners manual and also printed on the box. These sources should list the shell sizes your shotgun can utilize.

While I want to say "Yes" to this question. I know that the management side and costs need all to pay to play. Its not just abot a license cost..its about what wouldnt happen without everyones dollars to help.

One must always place a respect for private property owners rights and whether by barter or cash payment support the property owner willing to provide a good habitat for wildlife and access for hunters. Wise stewards shuld be compensated and hunters should not think themselves only there to harvest the result of time labor and management of game by public entior private landowners.
Traition is stretched by the new compounds..but I love mine. The Crossbow is just to much like a tool that does not give me as much a excuse to pratice with a bow.

Perhaps some ground up scrap anter pieces to mix in a epoxy base. then shape with small hand tools and color to match your set.
I like the idea of military base hunting. I do know that when i was a game warden...the military had active programs to manage game and to allow hunting on mostof its large complexes in Georgia.

Start with your States Fish and Game Department. In My State and many others they have lots of assistance and even special hunts and land that can be accessed for hunts. Then contact your state rifle clubs and hunters rights groups for more information...and make some new friends.
Ahhhh, tradin guns....a past time that is always expressed in both parties getting what they they think is a good deal. Onyour ruger..the style as in wood stock or stainless gun or heavy barrell can chenage the value. But, on a standard model with blue steel finish and a wood stock and standard open sights..in a trade a average range is from 125-175 dollars. Use the web to search on current prices set on some of the aution and listing sites and remember that its value in a trade is mostly what you and the other party agree it is when you trade. A dealer or pawn shop will give you a third or less of its value.

Start raising a ruckus now..so maybe a more moderate choice is made that recognises the importance of the 2nd ammendment as well as how much sportsmen and their hobbies support the planet much more than liberal lectures and pandering.

I would look for a stuedy mid size pack that is frame less and hugs the body well and is brightly colored in a color that is not a natural color., like orange or blues and yellows. I would evaluate what my purpose for the pack is and then make sure the needed equipment can be placed in color coded stuff bags to make a easy to find load and still all fit well inside the pack and cover my needs. I would wear and carry the pack and make adjustments to make sure it works well in a real rescue scenario.
My father is 91 and uses a Honda Accord Hatchback as his atv on his 1700 acre farm and parks it in the woods...its equipped with a microwave and a tv..rolls the windows down and turns on his electric heater and does shoot his deer from a rolled down window...drives over honks the horn and we head over and listen to his story about the shot and clean his deer and load it in the hatchback for him to drive to the house..all on his property...never on or from a road...the car allows him to hunt in comfort on a farm of pine trees that are planted about 8 feet apart and the old honda fits between the trees and allows Dad to keep hunting in comfort.
