Hmm hope your not planning to wear that pink hat ;). Bring extra coffie and sugar and if you could have the coffie cooking befor all the fellas wake up you would be golden in my book. if i was you i would google hunting jokes write or print the best ones and pull them out when your all sitting around after all hunting camp gota have some humor and fun. I live no where close to anything you back east would call a urban area. If you could answer a ? for me. I know gun hunting is a no go but what about bow hunting is it legal in city limits. If it is legal u should talk to the person in charge of the grave yard and talk to them about what kind of hazard they could be if they ran out into traffic and also let him know that you could harvest a deer our two for him .;)
I know urban deer get big but how would it taste i never had a chance to eat one myself. I found over the years that the deer have flavor to them like what they eat. Good luck out there in NJ.
But since where letting a little steam out on our fellow hunter that ruins our hunt. I want to say thanks to the hunters who shot a doe when i was 5 yards from completing my stock on a upper 170 class buck. This buck was thick and perfect I didnt want to blow this one so i planned my stock flawless to where i would of been 60 yrds from him i forgot to tell you about the other seven bucks and about 11 does that was in full rut that I had to stay out of sight from. Anyways I sneak out of sight to the stream bottom that maid a big mound between me and the thick antler wizard.So my stock was perfect within feet of peeking over the mound here I go then boom boom the deer dart like thiefs in the knight for the brush the thick 5x5 lives on. The shots where a half mile away i know the hunters didnt see me or the bucks when i was hiking out i saw them off in a big field draging a doe. All i could think is i hope that is the best eating ever because they maid me miss out on a chance of a life a time. Thats hunting
Dont know where your talking about. As your anger wears off you might want to remember that not all hunters can notice evreything going on around them some get so worked up they get caught in the moment and forget that there are other people in the world for a brief part of time. Dont make them in the right though.
I got chased once by mama bear. Had no gun our pepper spray wasent the best time of my life but I did learn a few things. Like running is good for a mans heath if I couldnt run like a deer back then I probly would of been just a bear attack headline . Another thing I learned is never go out in the woods without a gun why not say pepper spray well if you seen the rage in her eyes you would under stand that nothing would of stoped her from protecting her young accept a quick visit to the after life. Another thing I want to say is it happens so fast you have no time to think just react make sure its the right reaction because it could be your last reaction. I just gota add treestand hunting and store baught jerky dont mix. Why you ask I took my nephew out for his first hunt braught some snacks and sweet so the young boy would stay longer in the stand. Anyways sitting there I hear something moving close to the tree I move a little to look under the stand the it makes a weird huff like growel then it was gone in a blink of the eye. I asked the young man did you see that he says no but I herd it . I was amazed I used this same stand for 13 years never had any problems with bears but when we climbed down I see a big chunk of jerky that the boy droped.
