Q:Ever since I hooked a nice Walleye last year my dad has devoted every second in the boat with me to hooking into a couple good ones for the fryer. I usually try jigging different color twister tails and they seem to be working. Atre there any other methods/gear that would help get some 'eyes on the table?

Q:I've got an ugly stik medium duty combo with 10 lb mono on it. Over a number of trips out with it, I still get lots of knots off the bailer and a number of other ordeals that, at least in part, seem to be caused by an awful lot of twist forming in the line. I guess the lures/baits I'm using and their action, but is this something braided line is meant to help? Is this reel just performing poorly? It gets real old to have to fight this every 15 casts or so.

Put New Line ON or stretch the fisrt several feet out tight and that part will be perty straight.

If It's just You then 4" But NO shanty or power Auger. I go out on 6" usually the First fish of the seaso isn't worth the risk.
