DSI Video Tip: Find the Travel Corridor

http://ak.c.ooyala.com/BnNHUwYzqKXfKiflB3c3pjefxAE5NHsO/QCdjB5HwFOTaWQ8X4xMDoxOjA4MTsiGN

Last week we saw how Steve was successful by moving off the food sources and into the deer travel corridors. Finding these highways and byways through your property is an important piece of master planning your fall hunt.

The best time to find them is at the end of the season, when foliage is low and paths are well worn. Literally walk back from your food sources into the bedding areas and look for good paths. Cameras make an excellent scouting tool here. If you don’t see clear paths, look for edges between different types of landscape. Thick cover surrounded by more open hardwoods is ideal.
