Western Outdoorsmen Share Their Best Catches
Kenny Owsiany, of Alpine, Wyo., caught and released this 6-foot, 3-inch white sturgeon in the Snake River. The fish broke the water three times, leaping like a marlin.
Milo Walker, of Port Angeles, Wash., broke the state coho record with his 21-pound, 13-ounce bruiser, but was later topped by a 25-pounder.
Brothers Alex and Nick Arena (left and middle) took this 83-pound halibut off Vancouver Island, with boat skipper Rolly Haider’s help (right).
