This initial survey was completed a couple of years ago. An updated report is due out in spring 2007 and will show some minor changes, but for now this is the best indicator of who we are. The numbers:
Of America’s 13 million total hunters, 10.3 million (79%) go for deer, mostly whitetails. One in every 20 Americans hunt deer.
