Hunters should see plenty of mule deer bucks and some large racks in the Sawtooth Range and Unit 39 in the Boise River headwaters. Whitetail hunters in the Clearwater and Panhandle regions can be selective enough to look for a trophy buck. Nonresident permits are sold over the counter for most units.
