New Hampshire’s deer herd is in good shape and is moving toward a decent recovery this year. Bucks over 200 pounds were recorded in every county last season, but the biggest bruisers are from Coos County, the White Mountains and Grafton County. Greater deer numbers are found in the south. Antlerless hunting is still day by day.
