The annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trades exposition, better known as the SHOT Show, takes place each January in Las Vegas and acts as the premiere stage for showcasing new guns and gear. Most of the coverage revolves around new firearms, ammunition and optics, but there are always a host of innovative new outdoor accessories that launch at the show as well, and 2016 was no exception. After miles of walking up and down aisles and checking out the latest gear, we bring you a roundup of what, at first glance, appear to be some of the best new products of SHOT 2016 that won’t go bang.

Crimson Trace’s LiNQ connects the pistol grip of your AR with a remote light/laser combo module that can be mounted on the rail of your rifle. The module features light only, laser only, light and laser and laser/strobe settings, all of which can be activated by pushing the control buttons on the grip.
