Zumbo in Africa
The hunt begins as we scout for a big leopard by setting out baits in trees in order to establish his travel patterns. By visiting the baits the day after we hung them, we can tell by the tracks how big the leopard is, and then try to decipher his route.
We’ll do this by scouting for the next five days, and then we’ll be joined by Roy Sparks who will bring in his hounds. When we’re satisfied with a particular track and the exit route the cat took, we’ll turn the dogs loose. In the meantime, we have plenty of opportunities to drive around, film game and natural sites, and even do a little fishing.
