Another morning of fishing and crabbing, and then we set up a strategy for the evening hunt. Since Bob wasn't back, guide Jason Burnett and I would motor into the bay where Sarah shot her bear. Other bears had been spotted there, and Jason said it was a traditionally productive area. We cruised toward the end of the bay, and turned off the motor. We watched for a while, but the lush green grassy shoreline held no bears. After a while we slowly eased toward the back of the bay to look into a grassy cove that we couldn't see from our position. Suddenly, just 50 yards around the bend, we saw two bears feeding, one much larger than the other.
