Road Kill Scooped Off Shelves

Candy deemed politically incorrect

Just when you think you've heard the strangest complaints from the anti-hunting community, they befuddle us again with yet another request. The culprit of their PC wrath this go-round was a version of gummi candy called "Trolli Road Kill."

The delicious candies were shaped like snakes, chickens and squirrels, which were decorated with tire marks. This, of course, caused an outcry from the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The organization threatened to boycott and petition the manufacturers, claiming that the candy encouraged children to be cruel to animals. Right, just like eating a cheeseburger encourages us to inhumanely slaughter cattle.
