We’ve all been there and if you have kids or a spouse that joins you in the wilds, you’ve been there on multiple occasions. Where is there? In the woods without a commode. Never fear again because at SHOT Show this week in Las Vegas I ran across the perfect answer. I bring to you: The Off Road Commode. Offroadcommode

Since my kids were infants I’ve toted them with me via my shoulders, a child’s backpack and on horseback, but when it came time to answer nature’s call a convenient log or rock wasn’t always an option so I literally had to hold my kids at times to get the job done. I left my spouse to her own abilities. My son wasn’t near the problem my toddler daughter was when the time came to reduce weight.

This simple device looks like a camouflaged toilet seat and fits into a standard 2-inch hitch receiver. The waste hits the ground, but you don’t. You’ll find comfort in the soft, padded cover and if you think you might be a little overweight, don’t fret it. The Off Road Commode has a load capacity of 500 pounds. It’s so nice, I think I’ll even take a turn after the kids and spouse are done. If you’re looking for a wild land commode of your own, visit
