You gotta love kids who are excited about hunting.
Joe Shirely, of Alva, Okla., sent us this copy of his 8-year-old grandaughter’s school assignment. The girl, Jarin, was given the task of recounting something special in her life, and she choose the story of her first successful deer hunt (see the letter below).
Jarin has tagged along with her father on hunts for years, but this was the first time she took down a buck on the family farm in Woods County, OK. Jarin is pictured left, and her sister Jansen is on the right.
