There’s no journalistic reason for me to post this. The video is old (Greg Balvin posted it in 2009) and nothing necessarily new happens here. These elk aren’t even huntable, as all these clips were shot in Rocky Mountain National Park.
But if you’re an elk hunter—or ever have been an elk hunter, or hope to someday become one—I know you’ll appreciate this footage. I’ve replayed this at least three times.
The rut is coming.
