Talk about a pig! The blokes from across the globe have some seriously gigantic fish hanging off the coast of New Zealand. This particular eye-popping specimen created a buzz in social media last week when the photo was posted to Imgur. We got the inside-scoop from the skipper who helped boat the fish. The bass weighed a whopping 57 kg (125 pounds) and was hauled in by Mark Johnston while on a bottomfishing expedition with Enchanter Fishing Charters off the Three Kings area around Ranfurly Banks.
Regarding the action that particular day on slob sea bass, skipper Lance Goodhew of Enchanter Fishing Charters said: “Man if this group fell down a toilet they would all come back with gold watches. Everything they turned their hand too, they scored.”
