Sitka has introduced two new pants for their waterfowl line. The Boreal Bib Pant (pictured) completes the company’s warmest waterfowl system. Working with the Boreal jacket, as well as Sitka’s other layers of high-tech clothing, the bib pants feature Gore-Tex and welded, watertight zippers to lock out the ever-present elements associated with waterfowling (you know, namely frigid water).

Like all Sitka gear, the pants are low-bulk and stretch in all directions with your movement. The Boreal line ups the warmth factor by incorporating 650 fill power white duck down blended with Primaloft fibers that provide warmth and waterproof-ness. Weighing in at 41 ounces, the bib pants feature cargo and hip pockets, and a high back that works with the jacket to keep drafts from blowing up your spine and snow from dropping down your plumber’s crack. They come in Sitka’s unique Optifade Concealment Waterfowl pattern and are available in sizes M-3XL. The Boreal Bib Pant will retail for $589.

In addition to completing their late-season line, Sitka released new early season pants. The Grinder incorporates a high-count stretch-woven polyester that will keep the pre-dawn chill off, but is breathable enough to release body heat as the sun (and temps) rise. The Grinder pants feature a seven-pocket system that includes zippered hand pockets and magnetic-closing cargo pockets. It comes in the company’s Optifade Concealment Marsh pattern and will retail for $189.
