Baltimore County Republican writer Ann Miller points out some interesting similaries between gun control and President Barack Obama’s proposed health care plan.

“Both impose mandates on all Americans, but both cannot enforce that mandate on those who break our laws,” she writes. “The liberals’ gun control movement wants to remove gun ownership from all Americans in an effort to reduce guns in the hands of criminals. However, the irony is that those who choose to violate our laws will ignore this legislation as they do other laws, and therefore be the only ones who still enjoy the right to bear arms.”
