Seattle Gun Rights Examiner Dave Workman reminds Second Amendment activists that the 24th annual Gun Rights Policy Conference in St. Louis is drawing near “and, already, the agenda looks ripe for sparks.”

Expected to speak: NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre will deliver a special address during the Saturday, Sept. 26 session, and former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr, who was the Libertarian Party presidential candidate in 2008 will keynote the annual awards luncheon on Saturday. Also on the agenda: SAF President Joe Tartaro, CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, along with Chuck Cunningham, federal affairs director for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action; John Valleco, legislative director with the Gun Owners of America; Jake McGuigan, director of government affairs for the NSSF; John Snyder, CCRKBA public affairs director; David Kopel, senior policy analyst for the Independence Institute; Tim Oliver, vice president for Missouri Concealed Carry; Michael Guzman, president of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus; Ralph walker, first vice president of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association; Alaska State Sen. Sam Strom, Kansas State Sen. Philip Journey and attorney Alan Gura, who successfully argued the Heller case before the U.S. Supreme Court, and attorney Donald Kilmer, who argued the Nordyke Case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
