The most reliable rifle I’ve shot is a Montana .270, which is simply unstoppable and accurate to boot. The X2, which used to be called the All-Weather, employs the same improved Model 70-style action, all-stainless construction, and a new, much improved synthetic stock. It has the same lines at the older stocks, but has been strengthened and reinforced and even employs a new dead-flat no-reflection paint. Montanas run from high-middle priced to low-end expensive, and are all tremendous values. I understand that the factory is switching to full-time all-the-time-production to keep up with demand. They have been DISCOVERED. Buy two or three now; don’t be left out.
