In 1945, a Kansas telephone company salesman named Roy Weatherby decided that he would rather start a rifle company than sell phones, and the rest is history. Weatherby was a visionary, a marketing genius, a gun nut, and a nice guy. This rifle, built in honor of him, comes in .257 Weatherby, his favorite cartridge, with a fancy claro walnut stock, a custom knife, and a gorgeous oak-and-leather case by someone who really knows how to make an oak-and-leather case. The price, I believe is $5,500, and if you’re crazy you can hunt with the rifle (It will certainly do the job.) but better you should put it away and watch it increase in value, as only 70 of them will be made.
