Crocodile Attacks Elephant In Botswana's Chobe National Park

I'm not sure which animal got the bigger surprise: the elephant or the crocodile.

Shot by a tourist in Botswana's Chobe National Park, this video shows a few of the estimated 120,000 elephants within the park drinking at a river. Things are peaceful until a very large crocodile lunges from the murk and clamps its jaws on the lead elephant's trunk.

The elephant swings the croc loose then slams it to the bottom of the river with the full weight of its head. The elephant then lifts the croc with its tusks and tosses it aside like a reptilian rag doll. I'm not a fully sanctioned referee by any means but I say the elephant won this round.
