Check out this wild video shot by Jim Abernethy last month. The photographer and shark expert was rolling video on a hooked marlin when a 10-foot mako shark cruised across his view finder.
Abernethy was understandably rattled as makos are known for being one of the most dangerous sharks in the sea. But luckily, Abernethy was able to pull it together and get back onto the boat unscathed.
The crew estimated the shark to weigh about 600 pounds.
