The grainy, shaky video below is not for the faint of heart. You can’t glean much from the footage, but the screams on the audio track tell the story.

Four pig hunters were hunting with their dogs outside of Darwin, Australia. The dogs caught a pig in a river and one of the hunters waded in to pull them out.

The other hunters stood on lookout for crocodiles, according to Suddenly, a 14-foot croc exploded from the muddy water and grabbed a dog. The hunter, who was wearing a Go-Pro, barely escaped as the croc thrashed wildly in knee-deep water.

The hunters wished to remain unnamed. One of their friends, Chris Tagell, provided the story and video to NTNews.

“It took the dog in one bite,” Mr Tagell said. “It was a good dog – the best dog he’ll ever have.”
