Texas Teenager Breaks Skeet Shooting World Record

Still trying to break that 25th bird on the skeet field? Well don't read this if you're the jealous type. Josh Poole hit a perfect 500 clay pigeons at the National Skeet Shooting Association Collegiate World Championship earlier this month, becoming the youngest skeet shooter on record to hit 500 in a row.

Poole is headed for Trinity University and is ranked as the number 1 collegiate shooter even though he hasn't started his freshman year yet.

"For me its muscle memory and it's easy, it's just a simple movement," Poole told KCENTV.com. "Head down eye on the target is the most important thing cause if anything else goes through your mind it's a distraction and you'll miss."

Poole now has his sights set on the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
