Here's a great Monday pick-me-up to check out on your next break. This moose calf tried to jump a fence but didn't even come close. Instead its front hooves fell between the slats and the homeowner has to shave slivers of wood from the gate with a hatchet. The rescue doesn't take long and, unlike most wildlife rescues, the freed calf hangs around afterward. It stares at the guys behind the fence for several minutes before eventually taking off down the snowy road. According to comments, this took place in Quesnel, B.C.
