Does a bear poop in the woods?
I don’t know. I’ve never seen a video of it one-way or the other.
But thanks to a YouTube poster, I now know that bears climb sheer rock walls pretty well.
Stephanie Latimer caught the proof on March 21 in Santa Elena Canyon near Big Bend National Park along the Texas/Mexico border. As Ms. Latimer labeled her post “Endangered Mexican Black Bears” I’m guessing they were climbing on the Mexican side of the canyon.
Latimer spotted the bear and cub while kayaking.
Big Bend National Park (located entirely in Texas) is said to be home to between 8 to 12 adult bears.
Those bears sure can climb. I wonder what else they do in the woods?
