Cloquet Valley State Forest

• 327,000 acres

• Inland fishing on Indian Lake (boat launch available) and good stream fishing throughout area

• Options for hunting include deer, turkeys, grouse and small game

St. Croix State Forest

• 34,000 acres

• Excellent fishing on the St. Croix and Kettle Rivers for smallmouth bass, pike and muskie

• 90 miles of ATV trails

Chippewa National Forest

• 665,000 acres

• Access to some of Minnesota’s top pike and muskie lakes including Leech Lake

• Good deer, turkey and bird hunting

Pine Island State Forest

• 878,000 acres

• Includes Big Fork Water Trail which is noted for excellent fishing and white water opportunities

Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest
