It was certainly a case of several characters from different backgrounds colliding in Michigan the other day when a wild turkey crashed through the picture window of Paul and Maureen Henze’s living room. At the time of the incident, the couple was quietly watching television in the room.
As Maureen lay in a recliner shocked and cut from the flying glass, her dog, followed by husband Gerald, chased the misguided gobbler down the hallway into a back bedroom. Gerald shut the door on the bird and waited for deputies to arrive. They eventually released the surprisingly unharmed bird.
“I was right behind it and got a handful of tail feathers before it ran into the bedroom,” said Gerald Henze. For the complete story from The Saginaw News, click here.
