No location in the world has this much turkey calling at one time. You hear it from the four acres of exhibitor booths; in the hallways and on the street; in hotel rooms and on the competitive stage. You hear it in your sleep.

Turkey legends and hardcore enthusiasts are gathering at Nashville, Tennessee’s Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center this weekend, Thursday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 21, for the National Wild Turkey Federation’s annual convention.

Any of you Strut Zoners in striking distance might want to make Friday, Saturday and Sunday plans. For $12 per day you can:

*Shop at the 545 booths in Ryman Halls C1 and C2

*Hear Grand National Calling contests

*Admire wild turkey and whitetail deer taxidermy

*Check out custom call competitions

*Attend seminars provided by industry pros

*Youth can spend the day in JAKES Junction: seminars, hands-on activities, airgun and archery range (free for children 10 and under)

*Parking at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel is $5 per day (Lot E). Shuttle buses will be available to transport you to the Delta Exhibit hall entrance.
