Strutter in the Storm

So what exactly do turkeys do during a hurricane? Well they strut for dominance of course. These two super-jakes hung out in my food plot for five hours today while Hurricane Irene stormed around them. At one point they stood stock still for a full two hours--not moving a feather.

The entire flock consisted of 20 birds, but these were the only two gobblers. Watching the turks sure took my mind off of the awful weather and the loved ones in its path. Hope everyone made it through okay. Check in when you can.
