The Sound Shield shooting glasses we found at SHOT Show are a clever idea from Browning. The temple tips (that back part of the arm) hide earplugs that retract on a simple tether.
The earplugs are detachable so you can wash them or swap in new ones when they get too waxy. The glasses come in five color/tint combinations and retail for $30.
Are these glasses a must-have item? Maybe not, as most serious shooters already have a dedicated pair of ear muffs (or they’ve gone deaf long ago). But these glasses will definitely come in handy if you or one of your buddies happen to forget said earmuffs. Throw them in your truck or range bag and never shoot without protection. Browning.com
