First Look: Browning Sound Shield Shooting Glasses

The Sound Shield shooting glasses we found at SHOT Show are a clever idea from Browning. The temple tips (that back part of the arm) hide earplugs that retract on a simple tether.

The earplugs are detachable so you can wash them or swap in new ones when they get too waxy. The glasses come in five color/tint combinations and retail for $30.

Are these glasses a must-have item? Maybe not, as most serious shooters already have a dedicated pair of ear muffs (or they’ve gone deaf long ago).
