Each year, the ATA Show allows exhibitors to showcase their newest products. It oftentimes reveals the latest and greatest offerings, and 2023 was no disappointment. The show floor was full of great items new, or improved upon, for this year. Check out these cool new bowhunting gear items from the 2023 ATA Show floor.

New Bows and Crossbows 

Bear Legend XR

The Bear Legend XR is new gear from ATA 2023.

The Bear Legend XR is characterized as a very adjustable bow. It has an 18- to 31-inch draw length range and 45- to 60- or 55- to 70-pound limbs. It also includes the KillerWave Limb Dampening System, which minimizes vibration and noise. Focusing on specs, this bow is 32 inches axle-to-axle, has a 6.25-inch brace height, 14- to 70-pound draw weight, 18- to 31-inch draw length, and 85 percent let-off. It shoots up to 320 fps. The bow comes with Trophy Ridge accessories, including a D loop, stabilizer, Whisker Biscuit, four-pin sight, and five-arrow quiver. The Legend XR comes in five camo and color options. The RTH model is available in four.

Bear Execute 32 EKO

The Bear Execute 32 EKO is new from ATA.

The Execute 32 EKO is an excellent option for 2023. It carries the Shock Management System, which helps stabilize and reduce riser vibration by up to 25 percent. Per its name, it also has the EKO technology, which allows let-off customizations of 75 percent, 80 percent, 85 percent, or 90 percent. Its Align Lok Technology helps work in conjunction with a bow sight to aid in axis leveling. It even comes with a GrizGrip, VersaGrip, and KillerWave Limb Dampening System. Observing specs, it measures 32 inches axle-to-axle, has a 6.5-inch brace height, 26.5- to 30.5-inch draw length range, 45- to 60-pound or 55- to 70-pound draw weight ranges, or let-off percentages of 75, 80, 85, or 90. It comes in eight different color and camo options.

Bowtech Carbon One

The BowTech Carbon One is new from ATA 2023.

The Carbon One by Bowtech is the companies new, premium carbon bow. This smooth-drawing, sweet-shooting bow is very accurate and easy to tune. There is little to no felt vibration, leading to a very enjoyable shooting experience. Looking to specs, this bow is 30 inches axle-to-axle, has a 6.63-inch brace height, peak draw weights of 50, 60, or 70 pounds, and a draw length range of 25.5 to 30.5 inches. Furthermore, it shoots up to 335 fps. The bow weighs 4.5 pounds. It’s available in four different color finishes.

Bowtech SS 34

The BowTech SS 34 is new from ATA 2023.

The new SS 34 by Bowtech is a very smooth bow. It offers the new DeadLock Cam System, which increases precision. It also has a very smooth draw cycle, is virtually vibration free, and incorporates a host of different technologies. Iit has a 34-inch axle-to-axle length, 6 ¾-inch brace height, 26- to 31.5-inch draw length range, etc. The peak draw weight options include 50, 60, or 70 pounds. Its IBO speed is up to 331 fps, and the bow weighs 4.7 pounds. It’s offered in nine different color and camo finishes.

Excalibur Wolverine 40th Anniversary

The Excalibur 40th Anniversary Wolverine is new archery gear from ATA 2023.

The new Wolverine is the 40th Anniversary celebration by Excalibur. Forty years in the making, this recurve crossbow minimizes the complications commonly associated with cams and cables. This crossbow is 31.5 inches overall, has a 15-pound draw effort (with crank), 14.25-inch draw length, has a minimum arrow weight of 350 grains, and requires a 16.5-inch arrow. It weighs 6.4 pounds shoots up to 360 fps. This product comes with an Overwatch scope with 30mm scope rings, R.E.D.S. suppressors, sound deadening system, four 16.5-inch ProFlight arrows, four 100-grain field points, rope cocking aid, ceasefire de-cocking hook, and more.

Barnett Hyper Raptor

The new Hyper Raptor by Barnett slings small-diameter, 20-inch HyperFlite arrows downrange at a fast 410 fps with 142 foot pounds of kinetic energy. It’s 7.25 inches axle-to-axle when cocked. It features the Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) Trigger System, CNC machined-aluminum flight track, Soft-Lok Floating Bristle Arrow Retainer, adjustable length-of-pull butt stock, pre-installed string dampeners, lightweight composite riser, and more. It sports Infinity cams and a TriggerTech trigger. It comes with a 4×36 illuminated scope, premium quiver, sled-style rope cocking device, three arrows, and lube wax. It’s CCD compatible. The crossbow weighs 7.1 pounds.

New Saddles, Blinds, and Tree Stands 

Tethrd Phantom Elite Tree Saddle

Anyone familiar with tree saddles knows the Tethrd brand. Its new Phantom Elite is ready and equipped with SYS haulers. It even sports MVP back support. The UtiliBridge system provides almost 37 inches of adjustability. This model weighs 24 ounces. It comes available in First Lite’s Specter camo.

Millennium Treestands BowLite Single Ladder

The BowLite Single Ladder by Millennium Treestands is an excellent option for bowhunters. This one offers exclusive patented ComfortMAX contoured tight-sling seat. It also has a durable powder-coated finish, oval steel construction, armrest, accessory hooks, and more. Overall, this stand has a 300-pound weight capacity, weighs 53 pounds, has a 20-inch-by-18-inch platform, and is 19.75-inches by 17-inches long. The stand is 16 feet tall.

Millennium Antler Shak 30-06

The new Antler Shak 30-06 by Millennium is an excellent new blind that deer hunters will love. It includes six full-view mesh panels and a 180-degree panoramic view, yet hunters can’t see inside of it. This blind is durable, too, and is tougher than traditional pop-up blinds. While this is a soft-shell design, it is water-resistant. It also sports windows compatible with rifles, crossbows, and compound bows. Plus, each window has an adjustable shooting rest. Being 6 feet 3 inches tall, and 6 feet by 4 feet across, this blind offers plenty of room. The frame is crafted from powder-coated steel. The entire product weighs 80 pounds.

Latitude Outdoors Carbon SS Climbing Sticks

Mobile deer hunters, those who regularly conduct hang-and-hunts, and even those who hunt from saddles, understand the importance of cutting weight. Carrying too heavy of a load causes problems, makes more noise, and decreases overall stealth in the field. Fortunately, the Carbon SS Climbing Sticks by Latitude Outdoors is one such product and was introduced at the 2023 ATA Show. It measures 18 inches and weighs 19 ounces. 

Trophy Line Onyx Platform

The Trophy Line Onyx Platform is another neat item for this year. This tree saddle platform is ideal for the mobile hunter who likes to go in light and reposition quickly as needed. This lightweight foot platform is crafted for reduced weight, too. It weighs 4.5 pounds and has a 300-pound weight limit.

Summit Universal Backpack System

The Universal Backpack System by Summit is a new product that treestand hunters will likely love. This product comes with a shoulder strap that is designed around comfort, thanks to padded shoulder straps that help reduce stress. It also distributes weight correctly, is adjustable, and offers lumbar support, so that weight doesn’t get applied uncomfortably. This thing even offers a fast on-and-off system with buckled straps, quiet operation with contact points covered in neoprene which prevents noise and offers a universal fit to be compatible with Summit treestands, as well as others on the market.

New Trail Cameras 

Moultrie Edge Pro Cellular Camera

The Edge Pro cell cam by Moultrie is a really intriguing product for 2023. This camera builds on the platform provided by its predecessor — the Edge. It has the industry’s first ever False Trigger Elimination (FTE) technology, which identifies unwanted environmental triggers and non-target species, and does not send the photo. Incredibly, this camera identifies the strongest nationwide cellular network, and connects to that. Plus, there is no SD card required, and runs on internal storage. Drilling down on specs, it sports a 0.5-second trigger speed, captures 36-megapixel photos, takes 1080 p video (with sound), sports a 100-ft detection range, 100-ft IR flash range, and lasts up to 12 months on one set of batteries.

Covert WC32V/WC32A Cellular Camera

The WC32V/WC32A Cellular Camera by Covert is an incredible offering for this year. It takes 32-megapixel images and 1080p, 720p, or 480 video. Once captured, it transmits video at 720p HD. It also sports a 0.2-second trigger speed, which is especially fast for cellular cameras. It also incorporates No Glow flash with 48 IR LEDs, a 100-feet flash range, 2.4-inch LCD color viewing screen, high-quality image download, and more. It comes with a two-year warranty. It takes 12 AA batteries to operate it. This camera is compatible with all T60 mounts.

Hawke Frontier LRF

The Frontier LRF binos by Hawke is a laser rangefinder built into a great set of binoculars. It offers an ergonomic design for easy button use. It also uses high-light transmission optics and a red OLED display, which makes the viewing experience even better. Brightness can be adjusted to six different levels. It operates on one 3V CR2 battery, and turns off after 15 seconds of inactivity to preserve energy. This product is available in 8×42, which covers 11-1,968 yards with a 7.5-degree field of view, and weighs 35.2 oz. It’s also available in 10×42, which covers 11-2,515 yards with a 6-degree field of view, and weighs 37 oz. The former is prices at $1,329 and the latter at $1,439.

Ramcat Hemoshock

The new Hemoshock by Ramcat is an excellent offering for 2023. This 100-grain broadhead offers a massive 2-inch cutting diameter with a total of 2 ¼ total inches of cutting surface. It comes with heat-treated stainless steel and 7075 aluminum for better durability. It implements patented Airfoil and FireNock Aero Concentric technologies for better accuracy. The O-Ring technology has multiple positions for lower-poundage compound bows, standard compound bows, or even higher-powered crossbows. It is rated for both compound bows and crossbows.

This target is a durable option for those practicing for that big game hunt, or for those wanting to expand their 3D archery target course. This product comes with an insert that recreates the vitals of an elk, including the heart, lung, and liver. It’s even removable, and has multiple sides, which mimic broadside, quartering away, etc.

The new Pocket Quiver by Bohning is an excellent option for archers practicing on the range or working through a 3D course. It securely carries and stores six arrows or bolts via six individual internal sleeves. It will accommodate any diameter from .27 to micro. This model clips to a pocket, waistband, etc.

G5 Mark 203 and Mark 244 Arrows

G5 has long been a player in the broadhead industry, but this year, it is brand new to the arrow market, and they launched with two incredible arrows. This year, hunters will have access to the Mark 203 and Mark 244 arrows. The Mark 203 is a .203 diameter arrow with a 3K carbon weave. It offers .001 +/- straightness. It’s offered in numerous spines, including 250 (12.45 GPI), 300 (10.95 GPI), 350 (10.24 GPI), or 400 (9.12 GPI). The Mark 244 is a .244 diameter arrow with a 3K carbon weave. It offers .001 +/- straightness, too. Spines available include 300 (9.02 GPI), 350 (8.48 GPI), or 400 (7.58 GPI). These arrows are precision machined with proprietary three-layer construction, including a base-layer with two layers of unidirectional carbon at 90 degrees, a mid-layer with two layers of unidirectional carbon at 0 degrees, and an outer-layer with 3K woven carbon.
