# Semi-Auto or Revolver?

That doesn’t seem to leave much for revolver fans, but he does say this later in the chapter: “I can’t leave this topic without pointing out that a small-frame .38 Special revolver may be the best bet for your defensive needs…Lately, I’m much more likely to have a J-Frame .38 in a pocket holster than any other defensive weapons. Not as sexy as the semi-auto and certainly not as capable as a combative weapon, the convenience of carry and reliability of revolvers are hard to beat for low-threat condition defensive tools.”

Kind of like The Lady or the Tiger? isn’t it? Which would you really have at your side?
