Nikon Prostaff 5 Riflescope
The new ProStaff 5 riflescope features a bright new optical system with fully multicoated lenses that the company says provide up to 95 percent light transmission. With a variety of magnifications to choose from (including 2.5-10 x 40, 3.5-14 x 50, 4.5-18 x 40), there is a ProStaff 5 riflescope for almost any application. The line features offers spring-loaded, instant zero-reset turrets to make field adjustments easier than ever before. Just sight-in as usual, then lift the spring-loaded adjustment knob, rotate to “zero,” and re-engage. Includes four inches of eye relief, a quick-focus eyepiece and positive click reticle adjustments. All models are waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Some configurations of the Prostaff 5 also feature an illuminated reticle with five intensity levels of red or green, and a rheostat dimmer located on the side focus knob for easy adjustments. Select long-range models come with the new Custom XR Turret Package, enabling shooters to order a customized engraved turret that’s calibrated to match bullet drop for virtually any factory load or custom hand load. Meopta ZD Tactic Riflescope
Weighing in at 15.9 ounces, the Meopta ZD Tactic® 4-16×44 RD riflescope with illuminated Mil-Dot reticle is designed for use by special forces or professional target shooters at distances out to 800 meters. Featuring an adjustable objective for setting zero-parallax at distances from 3 meters to infinity, the ZD 4-16×44 RD is exceptionally precise. ZD tactical target turrets feature .05 Mil Rad positive click-stop adjustments for designed for repeatability. The elevation turret allows calibration of bullet drop to virtually any known distance and can be easily reset to zero. Featuring an RD illuminated, Mil-Dot style reticle with seven intensity levels, the ZD 4-16×44 enables the shooter to quickly figure the distance of an intended target at almost any distance. Swarovski Z6 Riflescope
The new 4W Reticle Swarovski unleashed for its popular Z6 Rifle Scopes is a wind-compensating reticle designed to be used in conjunction with the Ballistic Turret (BT), now available in all Z6 model scopes. The 4W Reticle enables shooters or hunters to dial in the correct elevation needed for a shot with the BT system, and then compensate for wind utilizing the vertical marks along the reticle’s crosshair. Marks are placed in two minute-of-angle (MOA) increments that provide precision at nearly any distance. Users can obtain wind “hold-off” in MOA from the free Swarovski Optik Ballistic Program app for iPhones and Android smartphones. MSRP: $2,643.00-3,843.00;
Burris C4 Riflescope
Burris introduces the new C4 line of riflescopes that are a perfect combination of premium optics with the ultimate in click adjustment. Burris’ C4 (Cartridge Calibrated Custom Clicker) system gives shooters and hunters the ability to match the elevation adjustment to their favorite cartridge and bullet, making pinpoint accuracy easier to achieve. Users can also order a free custom knob to match their favorite load. The custom elevation knob also indicates, in MOA, the 10 MPH wind hold-off for your cartridge for the distance you are shooting. The simple-to-use C4 Wind MOA reticle eliminates the guesswork with full- and half-MOA tick marks that extend out to 10 MOA in each direction. Hawke Sport Optics XB Map
The XB SR and XB MAP (pictured) scopes manufactured by Hawke® Sport Optics are designed specifically for use with crossbows. All XB scopes feature fully multi-coated optics and crossbow-specific, glass etched reticles with drop compensations built in for bows with a speed of 315 feet per second. For faster or slower crossbows, simply download the free Ballistic Reticle Calculator (BRC) software or Hawke BRC app from the Apple App Store to match the reticle values to your hunting setup. Both models offer 3 x 32 magnification/objective, a field of view (FOV) of 50.2 feet at 100 yards and 4 inches of eye relief. The 3 x 32 SR model has a dual red/green illuminated reticle and weighs slightly more (11 ounces) than the XB MAP (9.8 ounces). MSRP: $99.99-164.99;
Bushnell AR 2-7 Riflescope
The 2-7 x 32mm rimfire riflescope is a new addition to the Bushnell AR line. The scope features fully multi-coated optics, a fast-focus eyepiece and a new Drop Zone 22 Rimfire BDC reticle, ideal for the numerous .22 caliber AR-style rifles on the market. With a 50-yard zero and elevation points out to 200 yards, the Drop Zone 22 is easy to understand and a cinch to operate. Built with a durable, 1-inch tube, the overall length of the riflescope is just over 11 inches. Target turrets make windage and elevation adjustments quick and easy, while side parallax focus allows the shooter to retain a crisp, clear sight picture at any range. MSRP: $149.99;
Leupold 3-18 VX-6 Riflescope
Adding to its popular VX-6 line, the new 3-18 x 44mm (pictured) and 3-18 x 50mm by Leupold offer hunters the flexibility of one riflescope that can tackle all shooting conditions, based on the remarkable 6-times power range. Side-focus adjustment and Custom Dial System (CDS) compatible elevation and windage dials allow for fast adjustments from any shooting position. Both models feature illuminated reticles using Leupold’s FireDot technology, which the company says leads the eye naturally to the center aiming point, and makes target acquisition quick, precise, and simple. It has a one-button, low-profile design that offers a choice of 12 different reticle brightness settings. Proprietary Motion Sensor Technology (MST) automatically deactivates illumination after five minutes of inactivity, but reactivates immediately when any movement is detected. Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 Riflescope
Designed with AR-style rifles in mind, the Mark AR MOD 1 by Leupold offers great performance at a reasonable price. A classic lockable eyepiece and tactile power indicator make it easy to determine magnification without taking your eye off the eyepiece. The Mark AR MOD 1 comes in four magnification ranges: 1.5-4x20mm, 3-9x40mm, 4-12x40mm with adjustable objective and 6-18x40mm with adjustable objective. The elevation dial features bullet drop compensation calibrated to the common 55-grain, .223/5.56mm cartridge. Additional dials matched to almost any ballistic profile can be ordered from the Leupold Custom Shop. New P5 0.1 mil adjustment dials are paired with mil-based reticles to deliver true mil/mil compatibility. Non-illuminated reticle options include Mil Dot, Duplex® or Fine Duplex. Minox ZE 5i Riflescope
Minox ZA riflescopes are designed in Germany and assembled in the U.S., making them a little more affordable. Crafted of lightweight, tough, aircraft-grade anodized aluminum, each ZA scope features standard 1-inch mono-tube construction. Standard features include Minox M™ coating, finger-adjustable wind and elevation knobs with positive reticle movements of 1/4 MOA or 1/8 MOA (ZA5 4-20 x 50), and long, 4-inch-plus eye relief. Building on the ZA series, two new models include an illuminated red dot for extended use in low-light situations. ZE 5i scopes provide 11 brightness levels, including an extremely bright red dot for use during daytime hunting. The red dot is deactivated at every position between intensity levels on the adjustment ring, allowing users to quickly deactivate the illumination when not needed. Nightforce Competition 15-55 Riflescope
Tournament shooters who want every conceivable advantage in an eye-popping piece of glass should check out the new Nightforce Competition 15-55 x 52mm. The ED glass provides exceptional resolving power at all magnifications and the company says it provides at least 92 percent true-to-eye light transmission. The scope features a fast-focus, European-style eyepiece, side parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity, and capped target-style elevation and windage adjustments. In keeping with its target application, adjustments are in .125 MOA increments, with 60 total MOA of travel. Each rotation provides five MOA of adjustment. Field of view at 100 yards is 6.9 feet at 15x, 1.83 feet at 55x.The Competition™ weighs just 27.8 ounces and includes sunshade and aluminum lens caps. To maximize the Competition’s™ potential, Nightforce created two new non-illuminated, second-focal-plane dot reticles. The CTR-1 is the essence of simplicity, having .016 MOA fine lines with a .125 MOA center dot. The DDR provides multiple holdover points, below a .125 MOA center dot. The Competition is offered in solid black and silver/black finishes.
Konus Sight-Pro TR
The Sight-Pro TR provides 1x magnification in a 35mm tube with four interchangeable reticles that have been carefully chosen to be among the most versatile ones for shooters. Each reticle can be illuminated in red or green to five different intensity levels. The Sight-Pro provides unlimited eye relief, 1 MOA at 100 yards and comes with a dual mount that fits 7/8-inch and 3/8-inch rails. Tactical turrets are resettable to zero, and the 2-inch diameter Sight-Pro weighs only 9 ounces. MSRP: $219.99;
