Chesapeake Bay Stripers Photo By neekos We slipped out of York River and headed across Chesapeake Bay. We found a nice lonely spot on the channel’s west edge and set out 4 floating eel rigs. 20 minutes later one of the floats disappeared and we reeled up a nice fat 38″ Striper. A few minutes passed and it was Bubba’s turn, he reeled up 46 inches of beautiful striped, big headed, fat bodied fish. By mid-am we had a limit of beauties! Paul Michael’s Big Bass Photo By mcclain5 My 4 1/2 year-old grandson, Paul Michael McKenzie, caught this 8 1/4 lb. bass while bream fishing with his dad, Larry. Paul Michael was using bread as bait. He hooked a bream and was reeling it in when the bass ate his bream. He was using a light weight spinning reel with 4lb line.
