Arthur Elgort and his good friend Mark from Pennsylvania drew tags in Indiana. They hunted the edges of the cornfield for days...they located this great buck but he gave them the slip! On the last morning of their hunt, they spotted him at first light and were able to get within 175 yards and nail him with a .50 caliber muzzle loader. A fantastic buck! Noel Sonenberg from Alberta killed this magnificent non-typical whitetail. He said: "My buddy and I spotted this deer from a hillside. Unfortunately he was across a river. We took a boat across the next day, and spotted this buck bedding in an open field." Noel killed a buck of a lifetime at 400 yards with a .300 Winchester Magnum.
