To whom it may concern, I’ve read Outdoor Life magazine from when I was 10 years old to the present. I’ve hunted all my life for whitetail deer in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and have never seen a deer like this one. I found out it is a genetic mutation and it’s called a piebald deer. At first I thought it was a partial albino, but the New Jersy Fish and Game Dept. identified it as a piebald deer. I don’t hunt with a firearm anymore but I do use a camera. (I’m 65 years old and had a stroke that left me with a heart condition). So I don’t do much physical hunting but I still enjoy the outdoors from the less-strenuous vantage point of the front seat of my SUV. These pictures were taken near a wooded entrance to a Paulsboro NJ oil refinery. BOB MISEWICH Outdoor Life Online Editor
