Out here in San Diego - we have the best longrange sportfishing fleet in the world with a record 405 Yellowtail caught last year, but no mention on this page?
Hey - out here in San Diego - we have the best longh range sportfishing fleet in the world.
World record 405 lb Yellowfin tuna caught last year, and many close to 400 lbs. Yet no fishermen from this locale?
What's with that?
REALLY no Al Lindner!!! That floors me!!
Looking back I realize my previous comment seems like these other anglers aren't deserving but that's not what I meant at all. Congrats to all the anglers mentioned in this article on some truly incredible accomplishments! I just grew up watching the Linders and Bucher on TV however, I do enjoy watching Pete and Gary on 'The Next Bite' as well! On Wisconsin!
Congratulations Pete Maina! Pete blogs regularly on Wisconsinoutdoorfun.com.
And congratulations to the other Wisconsinite, Gary Parsons!
Congrats to Pete Maina and Gary Parsons, and to all of the anglers listed here. From myself, and all of us at AMSOIL, well done TNB!
So cool! That's my grandpa :)
Mike Iaconelli has a great show called "City Limits Fishing w/ MI" on the Versus Network. He's an awesome angler and very funny....check it out.
That is so awesome Pete. What a great honor.
I am proud of you too.
I know I'm biased because I'm a Wisconsinite but not even a mention of Joe Bucher or the Linders (specifically Al)?
