Zumbo: Internet Hunting Is Evil

Not long ago, someone in Texas thought it would be a brilliant idea to create hunts that could be done via the Internet. As I understand it, a camera is focused on a deer at this dude’s ranch and the so-called “hunter” aims at the deer that is visible on his computer screen while the is sitting somewhere comfy in an air-conditioned room perhaps 2,000 or more miles away. A real live person at the ranch reacts to the instructions by the “hunter” and shoots the deer on com mand. The “hunter” has his trophy and never lays eyes on the critter until the taxidermist sends it to him months later.
