Percentage wise there is way more anti-gun actions from those who lean to the left than those who lean to the right in their idealogies. That's not saying that all social liberals are against guns, not at all. But, the majority have expressed the anti-gun view and after a while it resonates and takes hold. Patrick, you fit into the small group of liberal people who are not anti-gun and that makes you an exception, not the rule. Thankfully, you are of this mindset. I also imagine you know others that are like you. That is great. But, there are plenty of liberals that are not like you and want a lot more gun control.

I don't believe that he had much, if anything, to do with the legislation that the Democrats, who were in the majority, rammed/forced through the Congress with Mr. Brady's wife doing the sobbing act for it. His tragedy was simply used by those who hate firearms to advance their twisted agenda. Glad you have access to firearms?
