Three of four potential replacements for liberal Indiana senator are pro-gun rights.
Democratic Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana is leaving office. Gun Owners of America rated his voting record an "F" and the NRA, a "D-".
Three of four potential replacements for Bayh, including two Democratic congressmen, have solid pro-gun rights voting records. Former Senator Dan Coats, a Republican who has been named as a potential replacement, had a horrible voting record on Second Amendment issues when he was in office.
As Guns Rights Examiner David Codrea wrote in his Feb.16 break-down of Bayh's potential successors: "Just Say No -- to Coats."

For the record, Bayh was a moderate Dem., as Absher says. I would rather have a "Blue Dawg" in there who is pro-life & pro-guns than have any Rep. in there who is not either. If you are pro-gun you are pro-life, specifically, your own.

Credit where credit is due: Sen. Bayh's track record is generally that of a moderate Dem. And in July he voted for the amendment to the National Defense Authorization Bill that would have created national reciprocity for those CCW holders to carry handguns in all other states that also grant carry permits. His Republican counterpart in the Senate, Richard Lugar, voted against the amendment. And, as it turned out, the Senate vote was only 2 votes shy of the 60-vote threshold necessary to avoid a filibuster.
please find someone thats for the second amendment in indiana.
