Corey Cogdell Profile: From Alaska to the 2012 London Games
Last year we got to talk to Corey about her life as an Olympic athlete and avid hunter. Read about her story here.
At age 16, she was competing at a national level and whipping the veteran male shooters at her club. “When I started beating the boys, I knew that this was something I had a knack for,” Corey says. AdvertisementADVERTISEMENTAdvertisement |

I think I need to move to alaska... if ya kno what I mean!
It makes an American proud to have her representing us in London. Good luck, Corey and bring home some medals.
my kinda girl right there and shes pretty too that cant hurt.
I personally LOVE the “Beat by a Girl” pin!! Just the thought cracks me up, although if I was DUMB enough to get talked into shooting against her, I'd most likely wind up with one!! Nice to see a young person that lives for the outdoors, can shoot like that, and isn't at ALL hard to look at...Almost makes me wish I was half my age, and not VERY happily married!! Good luck in the next Olympics, lady!!
Durable Alaskan girls - priceless.
Great photos and bio of a very talented young lady! She's had more experiences in her short years than I will probably ever have. I'm just getting my son into shooting and this is definately an inspiration. Best of luck in 2012, Corey!
