Great taxidermists are fantastic artists. When they can take a form, remodel it to precisley fit the animal's pelt or hide and then make it pop out like it is alive, it is a beautiful piece of art. Always get references on a taxidermist from people he has done mounts for and look at them if you can. Nothing is more disheartening than to get a great trophy and have a inferior mount done by a poor taxidermist. A mount will allow you the rest of your life to reflect on the great day you harvested your prize. It is worth the money to have it mounted by a great taxidermist.
I'd be betting on the BobedCat!! they are one fine fighting machine unless there were a pack of dogs on a one on one think he'd take the prize!!!Luv watching them N the wild never been incline 2shoot one yet?? guess I like 2watch them--curiosity won't kill one if I'm the shooter.
Joe Boggs has done several whitetails and turkeys for me. The pictures don't do the real thing justice. His attention to detail and care for preserving your memory is extraordinary. Very cool to see him getting recognition here!

I gotta find out who does Joe Boggs' hair.
The work was very good, the bobcat and coyote were probably the best although the pictures did not do the rest justice
Those were some great mounts.
He should get 1st place for that Killer Mullet.
Great taxidermy, but the photos were not all that good
these mounts are like the mona lisa of hunting.
the bobcat/coyote piece is my favorite
Very nice. Need bigger trophy room.
