newspaper

“Cut a newspaper into 1-inch strips, roll strips up tightly, and tie string around the rolls, leaving about ½-inch of string as the wick. Melt burnt-down candles or paraffin wax in an old pot. Saturate the newspaper rounds in the melted wax. Set aside to cool. Store the rolls in a zip-top bag in your pack.”
