OL launched this blog just in time to ship me from chilly New York City to slightly less chilly Nashville where the National Wild Turkey Federation is holding their 30th Annual Convention and Sport Show.
While I missed the opening night party, I was up earlier this morning than if I had been trying to catch a gobbler off the roost to make my flight. I’ll be spending a couple days now pounding the exhibit hall floor in search of the coolest new calls and gear and crashing the Grand National Calling Championships, where I plan to talk to a number of competitors to get their best calling tips.
I’ll report in through the weekend and will of course offer plenty of follow up when I get back. Hope to see some of you out there.
