Folks nowadays prefer plastic-stocked, stainless steel, scoped muzzleloaders. Not my family—we like the old, traditional smokepoles. We’re not stuck up about it though—in fact, we’ll use a modern inline muzzleloader on occasion. But there is just more, well, soul in a traditional long rifle. Check out the video and see if you don’t agree as you watch 14-year old Cheyenne harvest her first-ever muzzleloader buck with one perfectly placed round ball from a traditional rifle.
